Conference Centre

Conference hall, tables & chairs, audio and visual equipment.

The Conference Centre that can seat 200, has Wi-Fi access and is equipped with DVD, surround sound and an overhead data projector to accommodate the viewing of presentations and movies. The Conference Centre, together with our classroom, are used to facilitate educational and environmental programs and to host guest speakers. Please check your booking form to ensure you have booked this area for the time required.

The cozy accommodation lodges offer a peaceful place to rest after a day full of activities. The fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room make group meals easy and enjoyable, while the games room offers a fun space for downtime. For adventure lovers, our indoor climbing and recreation area provides a perfect space for year-round fun and challenges.

Camp Kookaburra’s outdoor facilities are all about adventure and connecting with nature. Thrill-seekers can enjoy the flying fox and abseiling tower, or take on the challenge of the low ropes course and initiatives course. Our archery range offers a fun skill-building experience, while the dam and swimming pool provide places to cool off or relax by the water. In the evening, gather around the campfire circle or enjoy a meal in the BBQ area as the day winds down.

For those who love staying active, Camp Kookaburra boasts a variety of sporting facilities. Whether it’s friendly matches of tennis, basketball, or beach volleyball, or enjoying a game of frisbee golf, there’s something for every sport enthusiast. Our footy goals and Gaga pit provide more ways to stay engaged, while the giant chess set offers a larger-than-life mental challenge for all ages.

Accommodation

Camp Kookaburra is one of the largest purpose-built school camp and group accommodation centers in northern Victoria. We can accommodate up to 130 guests under one roof, all on a single level for ease and accessibility. Our 14 rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and evaporative air conditioning, offering flexibility to suit the needs of your group.

Cabins 1-9 are equipped with bunk beds, split system air conditioning, and private bathrooms.
Cabins 10-11 also feature bunk beds and split system air conditioning, with a separate toilet.
The teacher cabin includes bunk beds, a split system, and its own bathroom for added comfort.

Facilities

 Our camp features an air-conditioned dining room and a dedicated recreation room, complete with an open fire, table tennis, and a pool table for added entertainment. Outdoor facilities include basketball and tennis courts, a swimming pool, archery range, a spacious Ga Ga pit, and a fully equipped laundry for your convenience.

Accessibility

We welcome enquiries from groups who may need accessible facilities. Our detailed accessibility checklist is available on request. Accessible areas at Camp Kookaburra include all building entrances, dining and accommodation, and some toilet/shower facilities. All our pathways are wide and firm. All our pathways are manageable for wheelchairs, as are most activities. Single beds available on request.

The minimum group size required for hire is 40 (or by negotiation). A minimum charge applies.
