We understand that there a lot of questions that you may have when sending your child on camp and hope this information may help.

At Camp Kookaburra attention to safety is given top priority.

About Camp Kookaburra:

We are experienced in providing outdoor education experiences and we provide assistance with organising programs and activities. We also have three trained activities staff to help run all activities that require specialist knowledge.

Attention to safety procedures is given top priority in the supervision of all activities and the teachers or parent leaders are provided with extensive safety briefings for all activities.

Set in farming country, the camp itself has attractively landscaped surrounds, with large cleared areas around the campsite.

Food:

At Camp Kookaburra we provide wholesome, healthy and plentiful meals with lots of seconds. There is always fruit available.

We pride ourselves on the quality of the meals that we provide and we constantly receive complimentary feedback from teachers, parents and children alike with regard to this.

We regularly cater for children with special dietary requirements and are more than happy to talk to any parent whose child has serious allergies to discuss the menu and how to cater for your child’s special needs.
